Here's the URL with all the details. I was looking at Dan's link for Ubernauts, and stumbled. Here ya go:
http://www.wunderland.com/LooneyLabs/Werewolf/Rules.html
I'd like to be moderator. The only problem of course is that we need at least 8 people to do this. I figured on the boards this was possible. Anyone wanna try it? _________________ BP's Video Game Wishlist!:

You should do it in real time if it's going to be on the bords. _________________ Totems aren't "pack licenses," they're not handed out by the National Registry of Uratha Pack Services as soon as you complete Form 12458-B, Petition for the Formation of a Pack (Tribes of the Moon and Unaffiliated). - Kordeth |

Real time would be to hard, but I like the enthusiasm, I'm in idk how we are gonna point and shit, might just be easier to do it in person. There might be too much secret RPing for the boards. _________________

It's a lot easier to run on the boards. Secretive stuff can be done via AIM... or email... or PM. I'm going to moderate the game although I'd really like to play. Maybe we can alternate people doing the moderation.
Basically, the 2 werewolves know who eachother are. They have to pick one person to maul. Now, I'd imagine the wolves would want to try and kill the seer first, since he/she gets to learn the true identity of one player. They pick a player, and I will PM them their ID. This happens during the night. During the day everyone gathers in town, and tries to determine which one of you to murder. I'm going to add another rule that everyone not only has to figure out who to kill, but HOW they should be killed. I was thinking about this, and it seems to add more crazy conspiracy aspects to the fun. Like, oh you would just throw him off a cliff, you barbaric animal. I bet you're a werewolf yourself! To which the werewolf would respond... On the contrary! A vermin such as a werewolf should be discarded in such a way. It suits the foul beast.
Evan: Doing it in real-time would be a pain in the ass. You guys can decide a time at which you will go online and try to talk things out though. You can email eachother, talk via AIM, or in person. Whatever you want to do in order to try and decide who is the werewolf.
Sass: What happens with the pointing is basically you guys decide on which player to slay and how to do it, then that person reveals their identity.
I'm thinking that 3 days will be sufficient for each segment of time (day/night). So everyone has 3 days to state their reasons, conspiracies, ideas, and all that, then you come to a decision. _________________ BP's Video Game Wishlist!:

Don't worry sass, you're the only one here who's douche enough to do that, and you need two to cheat that way. _________________ In response to your Lightning Blast, I'll eat this burrito.

I didn't mean it like metagaming, I meant RPing that MUST be done in secret.
Okay so you PM each WW telling them who the other is.
The Seer PM's you to point just like the WW's do after they talk on PM, AIM, or telephone. It works, but set up a strict no out of game talking on the boards. _________________

There is only one rule. You cannot tell your identity to ANYONE. The werewolves will know who they are, but they can't tell anyone who they are. Nobody can give away their identity ever at all. Not to people in game, not to people not playing. Not in a Dr. Suess style poem, not in a boat, or definitely not to people who ARE playing. Only time you can give away your identity is when you get lynched or when you get killed by werewolves.
The Werewolves will PM me with their target yes. I will PM the seer after they PM me their target. This stuff is done in secret, but the rest of it is pretty much RPing publicly.
The thing about this game is there's really no out of game talk. Even out of game talk can be considered a ploy by a werewolf to get people to not notice him, or possibly stray off topic to pull them in the wrong direction. So anything you say is taken into account, whether it's in game or out of game. The only thing you can't say is identity.
I'm also wondering if anyone wants to use the cat characters as the characters in the game. It would add some comedy to this otherwise dreary setting for the game. _________________ BP's Video Game Wishlist!:
