In light of my recent defeat of the metal beast, I'd like to introduce a new forum game. This one contains anything non-metal. By that I mean, anything I hate that is metal. So if you wanna post metal, and you aren't sure, I'll let you know, just gotta ask! there's 15 members on the board so 14/15 is some big fraction that's past 95% of you.
Anyways, I'll start things off as such:
Some butthole surfers:

ANd it's apparent Beck counterpart:

Kinda sound the same to me, specially the vocals. |

These 2 songs are amazingly similar, I noticed this a while back, upon the intro without paying full attention, or being more than fimiliar with either Pepper or Loser, it is nearly indivisible.
Also, for the whole good song part of this.......Buddy Holly by Weezer, my friend Kristi & I have been jonesing on it for several days now |

| The video for war pigs was amusing. I'm a purist though and i have to say the song doesn't come close to the original. |

The FNM version of Pigs is the best man, sorry. Jim Martin's work is amazing in it, and the whole band just meshes perfectly. At Tom once put it, it is "razor sharp" |

With the caveat being I preferred the rough original.
Edit: Cause no one actually posted it yet,

I actually like the original better than the Cake version, I just thought it was amusing that they did a cover of it. Plus there's a trumpet solo which is pretty amusing. Not as amusing as that song Siberian Khatru by Yes which has a pretty cool harpsichord solo in it. Wish I could find that one on Youtube. |

I tend to really love music that combines a lot of melodies at once, more than just one bad dude shredding it up. A wall of sound is what I want! _________________ In response to your Lightning Blast, I'll eat this burrito.
