I was dreaming about playing Magic, and I dreamed about two cards that don't exist.
One was called Fatal Frenzy, but it certainly wasn't Fatal Frenzy at all. It was a colorless spell you could suspend for three turns for free. When you suspended it you had to pick a color. When the card came into play, if there was a permanent of the chosen color in play, "Fatal Frenzy" would be a 4/8 trampler of the chosen color.
The other was a white counterspell. It cost one white to play, technically, but when you play it, you have to put 3 generic mana into your mana pool. You may then pay one generic to counter the target spell.
The first card had a black and white cardface, kinda looked like newsprint. The second card had the futureshifted cardface.
