Lancea Sanctum
The Lancea Sanctum have one driving goal: Destroy the Circle of the Crone.. They believe that the Crone are trying to take over their territory. gods's territory, and want those "Demon Worshipers" gone by any means necessary. This has led to many violent and bloody altercations between the two groups.
Circle of the Crone
The Circle of the Crone are on the other side of this battle. However, they wish for a more peaceful existence, they just want to live their own way and practice their own beliefs. They have been forced into a war with the Sanctum. Because they don't have as many numbers as the Sanctum, they need to use guerrilla tactics to win their battles. They still go about their usual rituals, including a weekly virgin sacrifice (ALWAYS a good party.) Any kindred not on either of these two sides would be at their best to avoid getting caught in the crossfire of a conflict between these two covenants.
Ordo Dracul
The Ordo Dracul inhabit the northwest end of Las Vegas, they seem to be happy working towards defeating their "curse" and try to stay out of the politic games and battles that plague the rest of the city. They are the true "neutral parties" in Vegas besides the obvious unaligned members. The most troubles with the Ordo seem to occur within, as time has split certain members of the covenant off into groups. This is more of a power play than a difference of beliefs.
Carthian Movement
The main goal of the Carthians is the same as most other Carthians: Change. They wish for a more democratic society in Vegas and are sick of the Prince/Primogen hierarchy. They feel that the current system is outdated and that there needs to be a change. They try their best to make their actions nonviolent.
The Invictus
The current "fat cats" in Vegas. The current Prince; Sergio Denalli. Is a member of the Invictus, and the Invictus hold claim to the largest part of Las Vegas through no coincidence. They are old school until the end and want things to stay exactly the same. They don't need to resort to violence, as they have a vast majority of the political power.
Hope that helps. |
