So I guess I have some comments for this last one. We had some really nice decks here, and I was especially impressed with "Done", because Tom handed me my ass in the semi finals. That was some good playing, and a pretty solid deck. My deck lacked some real good creatures, and "hi my name is BP" should have won, because that's what BP did with his previous version of the deck.
Only thing I saw that I didn't like was Evan's deck. You've got too many land at 20, and too few creatures. I know how creatures were hard to come by in red, but you should have been able to pick up some better white ones. I saw some pretty nice white creats going around. I would cut the land to 16-17, and use those slots for creatures. If you're wondering how to ratio the land, just count out all of the colored mana symbols of each color. For reference to Evan's deck, he had 8 white, and 19 red symbols. You probably would have wanted something (assuming 16 land) like, 10 Mountains and 6 Plains. Since you have the 2 totems that also produce red, you can get away with 7 Plains and one less Mountain. Overall it was a lot of fun, except for the slow start. CBL will be the next event, but I'll post it up here anyways. The turn out is looking to be exceptional this time around, as Rob said he'd be interested (maybe), BMurph is coming home, and perhaps if someone gets a hold of Sean D, he can show up too. If all of those guys are here, and the usual suspects, that's a nine man tourney! Better prize support, plus you can mix it up a bit instead of playing the same people every event.
