Sunday, May 11th, I will be running the third and final installment of my World Of Darkness trilogy "Into the Jaw" - aptly entitled "Jaw". I'm using this game to workshop my possible W.O.D campaign, and I know, based on some of your responses and what we've talked about already, you guys have expressed interest in participating in said game. I've had a good time running this one so far, so I'd love to see where I could take a full fledged campaign.

I know It's been several weeks in between games so to jog your memories and catch you up in case you missed anything, I'm going to go ahead a recap the story so far - touching on key characters and plot points etc. So grab a pencil and pay attention...

"INTO THE JAW"
A Horror Story in 3 Parts.

Part 1
"Tongue"

Five people wake up in a house, and realize they can't recall anything while an ominous tape recording informs them that they have been brought together to be punished for thier participation in a murder. A powerful hallucinogen moving through thier blood subjects them to horrifying visions - forcing them to question what is and isn't real. Over a 4 hour stretch of time they investigate the property and fight for thier lives against paranoia and a vengeful demon hellbent on eating them, while they try to remember who they are.

Characters:
Valentine Powers (Bill) - Came to prominence over a year ago after succesfully making the case to help convict Ian Graham of the murder of his daughter Nell.
Was kidnapped by Ian because of this fact.

Stan Kemp (Paul) - Columnist and Photojournalist for Orin County's "The Voice". Dually hailed and criticised for his scathing coverage of the Ian Graham trial, painting a portrait of a soulless father who violently took his own daughter's life.
Was kidnapped by Ian because of this fact.

Timothy Ground (Tom) - Headed up the investigation into the death of Nell Graham which ultimately led to the arrest, conviction, and sentencing of Ian Graham. He was praised for making a rock solid case against Ian. Was kidnapped by Ian because of this fact.

Sliver (Noobie) - Vampire. The actual murderer of Nell Graham. No motive or information was given before being burned alive in a hay siloh on the Graham Property. Kidnapped by Ian Graham because Ian knew he was the actual murderer.

Danny Fore' (Dan) - Nell Graham's former boyfriend and the key testimony in the trial of Ian Graham. He was kidnapped by Ian because of this fact. A college student, Danny plays guitar in a local hard rock band called SWEET DARKNESS.

Mrs. Graham - Ian Graham's wife, being magically kept alive in a partially zombie like state, who does all of Ian's dirty work. She is unhappy in her current state and wants to pass on so she told the kidnapped how to destroy ian. She was apparantly killed by Ian minutes later.

Nell Graham - The deceased daughter of Ian Graham, who communicates to the kidnapped as a ghost.

Ian Graham - Sentenced to death for the murder of his daughter, a crime he did not commit, he seeks revenge on the people he feels were responsible for it. After his death he was granted demon powers and sent back to earth in order to get his vengeance. The kidnapped victims are able to destroy Ian by severing his anchor to this world, the skeleton of his dead daughter.

Part 2
"Teeth"

Hours after the horror of the Graham Mansion, the survivors are continuing to deal with the aftershocks of what has happened. A string of ghastly, ritualistic murders and a set of large glass teeth force them to come back together - realizing that there's more connected than they think. And that the town they live in may have a secret that could destroy them all.

Characters:

Stan Kemp - Stan is visited by a vision of a young girl with her tongue cut out. After a vague warning she leaves him with a set of giant glass teeth. Stan intentionally distances himself from the events of the previous evening while doing some investigative reporting on the current string of murders, where 5 young girls have had their tongues cut out. After some bad run-ins with the uncooperative police, Stan stumbles across some evidence that leads him to Orin County General Hospital, and King Oliver Forthright, head of the hospitals crisis center and a possible connection between him and the murders.

Valentine Powers - While the visions from last night continue to terrify her, valentine begins to experience psychic phenomena. After discovering that her husband Jonathan, may be involved in something more evil than she knows, she leaves him to stay with Danny in his dorm room until things blow over.

Timothy Ground - Heading up the investigation into the multiple murders of young girls in the local area, timothy is swamped with work and trying to make the orin police department look good with the impending arrival of an FBI agent to help in the case.

Danny Fore' - Continues to be haunted by the ghost of Nell, and becomes determined to try and free her. Attempts to bring the group together but continues to bump heads with Stan over working as a team.

Harry Plex - Young, head librarian for Orin Library. Deeply invested in the paranormal and the occult, and a good contact of Stan's. Assists the group in learning about the teeth.

Adrian Fellner - Editor of "The Voice" and Stan's boss.
Chief Richard Henry - Chief of Police and Timothy's boss.

King Oliver Forthright - One of the head doctor's at Orin County Hospital, in charge of the crisis center and Valentine's primary care physician. It's been hinted that he may have had something to do with the murders of the 5 girls. It's also been implied that he may have some kind of deeper connection to Valentine's husband.

The Collector - An powerful creature awakened and coming for the glass teeth left with stan. It gets its full power when the teeth are inserted into it's mouth and it's pissed that someone stole them. The group is told that they need to locate a book known as The TOME OF THE DEVOURER in order to destroy the collector before he can reach full power, which is traced all the way to King Oliver's Mansion. The group find and and read the spell to destroy the collector, but not before King appears to take back the TOME and dissappear.
