Ok folks, those of you that filed your 2007 taxes will be receiving your rebate check either in the mail or via direct deposit. Either way, it will be coming soon, so what do you think about getting another big order going?

I was claimed as a dependant last year, but I can't be anymore, so I'm not sure where I fall.

Hmm, I'm not sure where everyone falls either. I know that I wasn't claimed as a dependent last year so I should get the full $600.
If your parents are not evil Jews, they should cut you some of the extra money they are getting because of you.
I think the money is being passed out as follows:
$600 per person
$1200 per couple
$300 per dependent child

Actually parents only get the 300 per kid if they are 17 or under...

Regardless of whether or not I get anything from Bush I plan on getting an HDTV and an XBox 360 in the next month, but I should still have a little something for a game or two.
