So have you decided to make this into a campaign yet? I really want to play this changeling character. I got most of the shit planned out, and I made it for Evan's setting, but I can do it with any setting. I should be able to dig pretty deep into the story you got going just by the nature of the character, and it looks CRAZY FUN to play...

i'll probably end up running the w.o.d. campaign so keep your changeling character on the bench until i've wrapped up this particular story.

Awesome because I really want to play this guy. Seems like crazy fun (I probably already mentioned the crazy fun about 50 times already).

I actually have no fucking clue, but Evan was showing me the book. Basically the fey got kicked out of fey land, err... yeah they escaped from fey land, and are in the regular world (world of darkness is hardly regular). So they're worried about getting caught... but that's kinda unimportant for the system stuff of the game. I guess the fey deal with all these uhh... pacts. Like you gotta be real careful with fey or you might trade away your baby for a bottle of coca cola. The fey logic is real fun, Evan needs to explain it since he actually has the book.

Get out your beaner to english dictionaries.

I guess I could give a little bit of shit about Swindell. Basically he's a dealer. A dealer of everything except people, sex and weaponry. He deals favors mostly, and weird arcane antiquities. It kind of ranges from the mundane things like blood, or even unmagical antiques to random people (old people who go "antiquing"), to certain levels of favors (i'm going to make a chart of each level of favor and what it entails), to special favors that could range from getting someone to fall in love with you, to an assassination. Basically all kinds of stuff.

He's got a small shop (for Evan's game New Hartford... but wherever for AnthAny's game) and during the day he runs it for regular, "unaware" folk of the world. During the night however he does his real dealings. The things which I mentioned before... all of that stuff. I'm thinking he's a pretty popular place for vamps to get blood, since he's able to get it relatively easily through the solicitation of favors and such. As far as game rules go, I plan on having like all 5 dots in contacts for all of this stuff.

Swindell keeps track of EVERYTHING in his log book. He has a profile for every nightly customer, and what they owe or what he owes them. As much background information as he can possible get on them (this really matters) is persuasion, affiliations, and status in society. How expendible is this person? Who cares about this person... all this sort of stuff comes into play when he deals with special favors.

As far as the game rules to how changelings work... I have no fucking clue, but after Evan gave me the quick rundown of how it works (which I forgot most of because I was too busy musing about this character) I came up with this idea for a character. I think Evan actually used it in the last session of his vampire game to try and impede Lupul from finding the werewolves. I don't think that's exactly how I want to play him, but the fey are all about trickery. They want to use your despiration or hastiness to fuck you over. I want to try and be more realistic than the book, and try to think about who might try to kill me if I do this act, or this one. Seems to make more logical sense, I can pull it off, and it looks like it'll be way more fun that way. I'm considering if Evan runs (which I'll probably play this character in both games) to ask McFeardon, whom Swindell apparently does a lot of work for, if I can hire Lupul as a retainer/bodyguard. That way I can totally play my vampire character which was mega fun, and Swindell. Best of both worlds!

I'm going to get the book once I get my cash from the banquet. I'll be picking up a playset of Shadowmoor uncommons and commons too, so I can build a bunch of new decks. The set looked so cool I figured it would be worth it to pick up the set. Just need a few rares after that, but that's what my trade binder is for!

Hoping to pick shit up at the pre-release, and I might go on MOTL for the few things I need. Of course, I gotta playtest all this stuff first, so I got me some time. I can totally add in the new stuff right away to some of my existing decks.

Considering the bitch move you pulled on BP the other week you're lucky you're not a stain on the pavement, you shouldn't be asking him for a gods damned thing.
