Naw, it's alright I only use it to read pdf's, type papers, and update my myspace, all pretty basic shit, it runs "decent" now, I can install the updates its just whenever I use that computer I'm in a rush so I don't have time to do it, I'll eventually get around to it. _________________

Ok noobie, here is a hypothetical situation:
Your senile great aunt has just offered to take you on a ride in her brand new Chevy sedan. You accept. Because your senile great aunt is senile, she crashes the car.
Now because you have been in a car crash, you hate Chevy cars. Not because of the fact that your senile aunt can't drive, but because of the fact that its a Chevy, so it must have been bad to begin with, instead of blaming it on your senile great aunt who can't drive.
Now lets apply this hypothetical situation to this current situation:
your senile great aunt = your non-updated machine.
the new Chevy = Steam
the crash = your non-updated machine getting viruses because of the fact that it isn't updated, not because of the new program you just installed.
you being stupid = you being stupid
Here is the solution.
Step 1: stop being an idiot and blaming Steam for your problems.
Step 2: UPDATE YOUR COMPUTER. it doesn't take that long and it hardly takes any effort. even a lazy nin-com-poop like you can handle it.
Step 3: Download and install the following programs: AVG, SpyBot Search and Destroy and CCleaner.
Now your machine will be virus free and able to take advantage of all the internet has to offer besides myspace and tranny porn.
There is a reason why we hate on you from all sides. BECAUSE YOU ARE BEING STUPID!!!! If you stopped acting like a retard and actually listened to us (the people who know a lot more about computing and technology and the world-at-large than you do) there would be zero (0) hate. I guarantee it.
Now if you'll excuse me, I'm gonna go by the pool and sip on a root beer. _________________

That's not cool dude, my actual senile great aunt Josephine died 2 years ago. I'm not joking. Other than that, I still don't care about Steam, its not a major necessity for me, I'll barely use it so there's not need.
Plus I can access tranny porn from the PS3 web browser _________________

Did she die in a car accident? Cause that would be hilarious. _________________

Dan I think I could agree if you replace all instances of "non-updated" and make it so they say "computer common sense", or something to that effect. My machine is a virus/spyware orphanage, and it still runs fine. Never update shit either. So I'm pretty sure it has to do with common sense, or uhh... reading instructions maybe. _________________ BP's Video Game Wishlist!:

It's hardly ever the fault of the software! That fucking movie was hilarious though. Can't remember what it's called now .
Anyway, just cracked my high score on MS pinball. Stupid MTGO server being down... _________________ BP's Video Game Wishlist!:

Almost a week later: it was, but it was a great game all around.
Back on topic: just so you guys know, Jon and I have already collaborated on the posts that he is making for his character and any of you can do the same thing with me so you can begin new story threads too. _________________
