That band was ape-shit crazy, that lead "singer" was great, could you imagine if they had a real vocalist with that band....not that they need one, I'm just putting it out there.... |

I have nothing to contribute to this conversation. But I appreciate that you fine gentlemen are doing such fine work finding awesome, listenable music. Maybe, one day, I will be able to refine my musical tastes such that I can also post a video link here. A man can dream...a man can dream. Oh, wait, Mastadon is cool right? This is the single from thier new album Stainless Style, which is a concept album based around the life of Mr. De Lorean, you know, the car maker. Deliciously bizarre subject but the album rules. And if you don't know what a De Lorean is, see BACK TO THE FUTURE.
Anyways, the video is great because it has nothing to do with De Lorean, but everything to do with a Jellyfish contest.

Holy shit, I haven't been this moved by an album in a long fucking time. The album in question is Bon Iver's For Emma, Forever Ago. It is my current musical obsession. The dude basically locked himself up in a cabin for 3 months and made this amazing album full of isolation, heartbreak and practically every other emotion.
