Las Vegas: The city without culture. In any other city, I could have been a respected actor. I should have stayed in Cali at least I'd have a decent chance there, but decided to take a gamble on Vegas, (it's what you do here, isn't it?) I lost. Now I'm stuck at some two-bit casino on the strip, performing in this lame gladiator show. I can't believe that this is what passes for entertainment here. Everyday the same slack-jawed empty eyed idiots walk through here. Just so eager to get cheated out of their money. Of course I understand the temptation, it's why I came here. The chance to get rich quick, even if I had a different way of doing it. It's the same idea.

So, you might wonder why I don't leave Vegas for good? Well, lets just say I owe some favors, and it wouldn't be so easy to just disappear. I'd be tracked down I've seen it happen before. This curse doesn't help too much either, in fact it's what got me in this situation. Now, I'm not saying that I'd rather be mortal, but the politics that go along with the curse get so frustrating. I've vowed not to get involved with kindred politics again, as long as I live er...you know what i mean. So with along with my mortality went my dream of being an actor easy come, easy go.

Oh, but like I mentioned earlier, there are benefits to being a kindred. There is no comparison to the rush of sucking the blood out of some cretin, getting to see true fear in their otherwise complacent and dull lives. No mortal pleasure can compare, and believe me, I've tried them all. Also, the new strength that I feel, my power over mortals is all very...nice. Well, That's my story.
